D900 means communication error on the CAN-bus.

A CAN-bus is a type protocol used when reading error codes on a scan tool.

A CAN-bus is a type of network used in cars. Before it was created everything was linked together independantly making the wiring looms very complex and heavy. The CAN-Bus was created so everything could be connected to this CAN-Bus greatly reducing complexity and weight.

If you are having problems with the CAN-Bus its time to go to ford, nothing you can fix yourself.
