g'day guys and gals.
got an LS focus and ran a diagnostic test and came up with a code dtc#1 D900. anyone know what it means thanks |

D900 means communication error on the CAN-bus.
A CAN-bus is a type protocol used when reading error codes on a scan tool. |

so when the scan tool was used on it last this error would have been created?

A CAN-bus is a type of network used in cars. Before it was created everything was linked together independantly making the wiring looms very complex and heavy. The CAN-Bus was created so everything could be connected to this CAN-Bus greatly reducing complexity and weight.
If you are having problems with the CAN-Bus its time to go to ford, nothing you can fix yourself. |
