Been looking at a couple of 2000 model V40 wagons ....they're only going for 6k with less than 150,000 k's on them....Both of them are very clean cars...
Anyone know if there's any problems with them? |

I ran a V40 T4 BTCC Edition from 2000 to 2005 up to approx 120,000km. The car had stunning performance once rolling and was a fantastic GT car. Particular likes were the built in child seats and ease of cleaning the leather, no squeaks or rattles to the end of my time with the car. Torque steer with the TC off was an issue along with wet road wheel slip - basically TC On for the T4 versions!
Regular servicing is key to longevity with no skimping on part quality.

Well I think I've changed my mind and am going to buy another Ford big six on gas.... Found a very clean Silver AU 3 Fairmont wagon, lowered with Kings, BA Alloys, duel fuel and tow bar for 4500k with 200,000k's on the clock.... Cant beat the mighty Ford I6 me thinks!
