Default Overhaulin' Force

I've been a huge fan of the show Overhaulin' (and Foose in general) for a few years now. The work they do to the cars they steal is exceptional to say the least. I think I've seen every episode thats been shown in Aus.
I'm also a huge fan of John Force in the NHRA. He's an amazing personality and a real competitor. No crap, no excuses, just a racer at heart. He's also a true family man and someone who is obviously more passionate about people than most.

I just watched the Overhaulin' episode when they did the John Force school bus and I have to say it was the best episode ever. Not only did Chip Foose make a 1956 school bus look like an absolute beast (he put a big block in it FFS!!!) but to see John Force's reaction was just priceless. http://www.overhaulin.com/gallery.asp?target=81

If you get the chance to see it, do it. Fantastic show, fantastic episode!

Chip's work is awesome, i recently got Rides Season 4 and a couple of the cars that he is involved in are absolutly awesome. I have only seen a couple of epiisodes of Overhaulin' but what i have seen was awesome. I would love to have pictures of my ute, and a couple of other cars drawn by him.

Its awesome my fav episode was when they redid chips old ford ute, handed down from his dad to him and he had to sell it.
They found where it was, bought it without chip knowing and worked their magic...... All those people chip had humbled, it was great to see the man himself humbled....

Funny you say that about Boyd's staff...... I saw Scotty on Overhaulin last night!

Re Chip's Ford pick-up they did for him. The show didn't buy it back, Chip had already done that himself with the view to redoing it. From memory they pulled the gates off his factory and took it. He really thought it was gone for ood when it didn't come back within the seven days. they spent a couple of months doing that one.

Yep, saw him too and had a little chuckle. Thats 3 ex Boyd employee's I've seen on overhaulin now

American Hotrod is a crap show anyhow. Cars are ok but Foose is just so much better. I'd kill to be able to get Foose to do a car for me.

Chip Foose is the king of modifying American Muscle I beleive. His ideas are true works of art. I too watched that episode last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. John Force is a legend and man was he ****ed at seeing his personal project taken from him.

AJ is HOT too. Certainly brightens up the show a bit extra too.

i also love Chips renderings. Such a talent. I would buy one for sure.

Imagine how hot a rendering of a XWGT would look if Chip did it. hubba hubba

I also noticed a few of Boyd Coddingtons ex employees make their way over to Foose's show

I remember the episode of American Hot Rod when, i think it was Scotty (he's the painter isn't he), had the huge fight with Boyd over him leaving, to Foose. On a Rides S4 episode he's painting a car and Foose holds up a pic of Boyd. Funny as.

My favourite show on cable. They just go all out, muuuch better than crap like pimp my ride where they do a tacky looking paint job and interior and that's it. Must cost a fortune that show.

Scotty is the fabricator

Wayne.. and I'd bet he isn't as bad as what the producers make out to be.. He is the producers "wannabe" Paul Senior on Chopper to spice it up abit..

In real life if he was half the goose that is portrayed on the show he would have had his teeth knocked out by now.

thats most likely true Racecraft, i dont get it though, why would you need to spice up a show about building custom cars? you'd watch the show because you're into that sort of thing, not "the excitement and drama when they're stressed to meet yet another impossible dead line"

thats why i stopped watching it, Overhaulin' is like a real life pimp my ride not so tacky though.

Imagine trying to work with Boyd ? Then there's the next step down , Dwayne (producers might try and make him look bad , but I don't think they have to try hard.)

Everytime Boyd "unveils" a car (like Paul Sr , Chopper) Always in the Limelight, "Look-a-Me" , sometimes a thanks to the boy's.

They had some good rare tradesmen there , but who could work for 2 Bosses with that type of attitude . I think there's only 2 left in the workshop now .

Then you look at Foose , different attitude altogether (one of the boy's , style) . I know who I'd like to work for .

A profitable businesses has 2 things to work right

A Good Boss + Good (happy) Staff = Good Business

i knowt his sounds odd, but target out here seem to have alot of TV box sets, worth a look.
@ norm, yes i agree. But i hate the way boyd "unveils" his cars, he takes bloody forever to take the cover off, your supposed to rip it off! not take 3 bloody minutes! but the way overhaulin' does it is so much better.
