Hey guys
wells i went to autobarn the other day and found myself some pinstripe stickers. Wanted to try an experiment and see what it would look like on my car. Bare in mind that the purpose of the experiment wasn't to be an "xr5 WANNABE" but rather to try and give my front bar a more distinct look. So i picked up a white pinstripe roll and these are the end results Before: With around just the middle mesh: And with around the foglights as well: Would like your opinions on how it looks, whether i should leave it to how it was before, just have it around the middle, or just have it around the foglights etc Cheers |

I think it would look better if the corners weren't as sharp, bit more rounded maybe.
Looks better around the fog lights than the centre mesh though.

This is my opinoin.
I would not have the ones around the foglights they stand out too much. The one in the middle Id like to see what it would like with a thinner strip, otherwise I thing the original version looks best. Thats my opinion anyway. |

I like them. Which is strange because my tastes are usually just as or even more conservative than others on this board.
GSR brings up a valid point though, a thinner stripe could make it fit in with the rest of the car a little more.

If you could take a few photos out in it's natural environment that might help a bit. But I'd just do the centre not around the lights. I like the front bar though.

Nice car there man,
Purchased from sinclair ford no doubt (phat pack). Car looks nice. In my opinion they look good, but somehow remind me so much of the UK spec Mondeo.

thanks for all your opinions guys!
I was sitting on the fence whether i should have put the stripes around the foglights. Had a look today in normal lighting conditions, made the decision to take the foglight stripes off for nows and just go back to autobarn and see if i can find thinner white pinstripes and test it out. Actually i bought the car from power ford in castle hill. Was a standard 07 LS CL focus. Didn't choose any extras or any other deals when i bought it cause I had plans to add things to it by myself edgecrusher the body kit is by talon. heres some pics of it: Yes I know, its sitting pretty high. Really need to buy myself a set of eibach springs later on |

Much better picutre of the Focus there. The Sinclair's Phat Pack that photn mentioned is a Talon bodykit btw and I like the wheels. If you're into it, come out on a future Cruise with the Club.

I never knew Ford dealers have packages with after market products. Just realized with your post that i got Fords "smooth" pack confused with the phat pack that your talking about. The wheels are Warwic Premium Fins from tempe tyres, about 1400 for 18's. Yeah I shall keep that in mind one time, eager to see other ideas people have done to their car. Love the Focus but, went to the Royal National Park few weeks back and was an absolute beauty to drive up and down the mountain bends
