Default Still want to buy 2 litre engine (ACT)

Hi All, had a couple of responses to my earlier post, bought a block in poor shape, but would prefer something better.... So please if you have a motor or motor/gearbox or parts (flywheel, carb, clutch etc) preferably near Canberra or available to ACT please respond.

Would the person from Lake George please call again as I don't have your contact details.

Thankyou to the offer of auto's but really prefer manual if possible.

Default May be able to help - CBR local

May be able to help... and am CBR local.
But first, how to identify Pinto high-comp 'manual' motors from low-comp 'auto' motors. Someone mentioned rocker cover colour...but mine is chrome.
Came out of MK1 Escort with manual box, but who knows about motor.

Alternately, ex-Capri Kent 1600 711M block rebuilder, other machined parts ready to go. Interested?

'Future projects' just taking up space......

Cheers
