Default my 92 EB

To day at 330pm coming home from work i noiced that my car water light was on so i pulled over in a servo on toorak rd and toped it up.
(funny thing is only got a new radater on sunday) :

anyway i started it up it choked and then white smoke poor'd out the back.

oh s*** i blue my head gasket.:
any way $120 for a tow home an now im left with no car and in need of a reco head.ASAP.: and it suck i have to be at work 7am tuesday in werribee

THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS I DIDNT HAV TO DRIVE HOME IN PEEK HOUR TRAFFIC..

and if any one has a reco head in vic near bayswater north let me know.

rip the head off and see weather it was the gasket or actually is the head befor e you get another one

What makes you think you need a reco head on it? It could just be the gasket. You really won't know until you get it off, inspect it and have it tested.
Bad luck it happened just before the weekend though. It gives you time to work on it but not time to get the head sent to get tested.

just gotta make sure you keep fresh and topped up coolant, get good stuff, it makes a difference....ive never done a head gasket, mainly cause my old rad. used to leak like bali drug smuggler, so i had to always keep fresh coolant in it....

how do you know it's the headgasket ? where is it leaking ? is the oil mixing with water. Make sure you find out 100 % what is wrong with it before you tackle it.

its water with the oil..
and its ********* its running on two cillineder and i just sent it off to get a EL engine put in to it. for $1200
so ill hav it but for the mini meet on tuesday..
cant wait..

the EL motor will be alot smoother than the EB one.

is the $1200 for an EL motor at Just Falcons ? Good luck with it Luke hopefully it goes better with the new motor. Are they using all your accesories ? like 3 belt setup and EB manifold ?

Thats no good luke i know scotty did his dads head gasket for him talk to scotty you may be able to work something out.
