Default importing songs!?

hey,
ive just brought the new korn cd and wondering how i can import the songs to itunes? usually i jus pop a cd in and it automatically comes up on itunes, but this cd comes up with its own screen which you can import the songs off onto the computer. problem is that they are in WMA format and when you click and drag them from the file i downloaded them to itunes says it needs to convert them to AAC, but it says that the songs are licenced and if i have the original cd (which i do) it can import them from there, but obviously i cant because itunes wont recognise teh cd for some reason.??

can anybody tell me what the problem is and help me fix it? coz i need it on my iPod arghh!!

cheers.

I picked up myself an Ipod over Christmas. Awesome peice of equipment.

Im not entirely sure on your situation and how to rectify it - but Id definately go here for a look http://www.ipodgarage.com/phpBB2/

Its an Ipod forum and has been extremely helpful to me in my start up phase with my Ipod.

Cheers

The CD is Copy Protected. It's "supposed" to stop piracy. It doesn't.
There is an option in that screen that pops up to SAVE ALBUM. Click that, then click on SETTINGS, and you can select the folder you want to put the songs in.
You should be able to convert the songs to MPEG files, but thats beyond my realm, plus I don't like the album all that much, so going any further and actually saving it to my computer wasn't going to happen here... but I'm sure you should be able to get a little further on.

Cheers for that Feathers.

You'll need AAC conversion to get it on an Ipod.

Which Itunes does for you - but he'll have to get it into Itunes which (with Apples very strong views on piracy) could be difficult.

How did you go with it 16wantsi6?

Try downloading AnyDVD. It may allow itunes to see the CD then.

it gets pretty bad when you have to crack the copy protection & reburn the disk just to play the damn cd! these music companies are making things difficult for those that actually buy music.
