Default Is my family ford crazy???

Me and the old man finally talked mum into trading in her little Mazada Astina for a new car. She picks it up this afternoon.

So as of tonight, in our driveway, we will have my BA XR6, Dad's BA XLS ute, Dad's BF MkII Wagon (work car) and Mum's BA 5.4 3V V8 Fairmont Ghia.

I now have a problem that Mum's got a V8 and i don't : . Looks like it trade in time of the XR!!! :

Yes and No, we live 10K's out of town, highway cruise all the way in.

Dad's ute has only done 5,000K's in the last 2 years and his work car runs on gas which work pays for.

Mum's drives like a grandma so it should only be a problem if I'm behind the wheel :eclipsee_

A mate of mine, who's a Holden freak actually came up with a reasonable idea the everyone should drive V8's, we use up all the oil supplies faster and then be forced to drive electric / hybrid cars, etc.

In the driveway (and garage) at home.

Dad's work ute N/A BA 2004 XR6
Mums Car N/A 200? BAII XR6
My BA 2004 XR6 Turbo Ute
Their BA 2004 GT-P
Their BFII 2007 GT Cobra

My sister and her husband have an EF Sedan and an XF ute.
My other sister has just replaced her (written off) Focus.

So when everyone is at my parents place it's a pretty good looking driveway.

We've got the TS50 as my daily driver, the Pursuit 250 (garage queen) and an EF wagon as the work vehicle for the boyfriend!
I also had an EF sedan in the yard for a month before I finally sold it (my old car) which looked hilarious...... 2 white EF's and 2 blueprint T3 T series in the yard!!

Ford crazy family? Not even close!

Try this ...

My Grandfather owned three cars during his entire life - two were Fords.

My parents between them own/owned no less than six Fords out of seven cars.

I have owned 14 Fords out of 17 cars. I have not counted the two extras handed down from my parents.

My son has owned 3 Fords out of 4 cars.

My daughter has owned 2 Fords out of 4 cars.

Now I think we might qualify as Ford fanatics eh.

My parents always had Fords when I was growing up but these days I can't even think of anyone in my extended family apart from me who has a Ford. My parents drive a Volvo XC70 which is part of the Ford family & has the same motor as the XR5 so that will do I guess.
