Fiesta Ambiente & Trend
The other part of the Fiesta drive program was driving an Ambiente and Trend with Manual & Automatic gearboxes. First thing you notice for a small car it has a sense of good space its wider more shoulder room and getting in out of the car isn’t an issue even for the bigger boys. Its build with new high strength steel, has new interior refinements ice blue mood lighting is easier on the eye than the red. Celestial blue is a new color. Improved shock absorbers & 15% more stiffness anti roll bar we did lots of twisty road driving and it has good balance between being stiff for corning and still having a level of comfort. Driving is smooth on the road and engine noise from inside the car is very minimal this was noticed by self and the journalist who I was paired with for the two days. Interior is OK the Trend has a slightly more enhanced look and feel over the Ambiente, power windows in the rear now standard equipment. 1.5L Engine 82kw with 140nm torque cruises fine at 100klm, its good value with entry level price of $15,825rrp and capped price scheduled servicing will see the owner pay no more than $1900 over 7 years for scheduled servicing. Fiesta History: Globally the Fiesta has sold 15 million cars, last year 750,000 were sold. First went on sale here in Australia in 2004 selling 3400 units last year 10,000 units were sold. A couple pictures from the day. I will upload all information and media releases shortly.
