Funny that, the guy doesn't even say what mag it is.

Should be a no brainer, VL is a tiny bit quicker but is ultimately a mid '70s Opel with a fancy motor.

Well I hope they aren't racing VLTs with a 2.77.

More than likely the car pictured is a manual/MPI S.

ea t5 vs commo t5 = 3.50 vs 3.58 for 1st gear

and the diff ratios were 2.92 vs 3.45 lol and they were pretty much neck and neck for all the tests they did

The EA Ran the quater in 15.43 @ 144.40
VL TURBO ran 15.50 @ 145.40

CAN YA BELIVE IT the EA was quicker outa the factory

Can any one explain how there is 10 years differnce between an EA and a VL like they are going on about in the article?

VL 86-88
EA 88-90(or 91??)

Never mind, just worked it out.. they are talking about the VL being based on the VB. El comprehendi now.

Yeah, but the VL used the Nissan RB30 engine which I think only the VL had am I right?
