Default Nice one (injury pics)

So riding my bike down to the panel shop before to pick up my car i had a bit of a 'cafuffle'. 2 teeth, chunk out of my gut, grazed and cut arms/hands knuckles, two cut up knees, an ambo and lots of coughing up blood later..

aannnd after they cleaned me up a bit

Lovely

NICE!!! Been there done that. I race BMX and ride around town as well, and have had plenty of busters in my time, so i know how you feel.

I hope you were wearing your helmet.

Remember, treat gravel rash more as burn then a cut.

Not sure how, but just crossed an intersection, hopped over the gutter (going fast) and I think the front landed in a rut or slipped or something (there was a nice mark on the grass just next to the path) and I went over. Teeth through lips/gum so probably need stitches. Need some new teeth too. Rest is all good.

Showers freakin hurt but, haha

Yeeooow !! Time to break out the old Friars Balsam ointment from years ago (The Old Farts will know what I'm on about) that will fix you !! : At least you can still remember who you are, can't you ?? Might be a good time for some mods for the pushy now as well, or maybe a new pushy ??? Time to rack up another vote for having 4 wheels under your butt rather than 2 !!! Wish you a speedy recovery mate.

Cheers
Russ

Good luck with all that, picking the scabs (yeah yeah, grose, I know...) was always the best part afterwards when I did that on my pushy many years ago.

Thought I recognised that intersection too.

I did excatly the same thing when i was 12! knocked my two front teeth out, put them thru my gum too.

I had 4 stiches on the inside of my lip, root canal treatment on my teeth (12 one hour visits to the dentist) and still have the scars on my knees and elbows.

Don't they say that chicks dig scars? Just make the story more exciting than stacking a BMX...tell them you were testing Casey Stoners bike because he was too scared to ride it
