Hi all.
Lately when playing my xbox it keeps randomly disconnecting every 10 or so minutes, but when ever I'm doing something that does require the internet, like downloading, it won't disconnect. I've looked through my router settings and there is no wifi timeout setting or anything so I dunno wtf is going on, anyone got any idea? |

could it be interference from other wifi devices ?

I'm not sure. I just think it's weird that when I'm online or downloading its fine, but then when I'm just in single player it will disconnect on me after around 5-10 minutes. I thought it was a timeout issue cause it's always consistent disconnect.

I just noticed the signal strength on my xbox is always 0-2 bars going up n down so maybe it's a weak connection?

Our microwave kills our wifi at home.
If it's a weak signal, see if there is a setting in your modem to boost the wifi strength. A few modems have this feature. Otherwise, try a higher gain antenna at either end.

Standard Wifi router that you got for free with internet connection? How long have you had said router?
