Default Can EL rocker gear & rack fit EA

Hi guys, i was wondering if i can swap my EA rocker gear and rack with the EL EF ONES....... cause my tapets sound realy bad.....Ive got a 3.9engine... THANKS

I have eb ones in my ef they have been working okay for 10000k's now the actual lifter looks differant but the pedistals and rocker arms are the same.

The EF EL rack will bolt straight onto the EA engine, and they work heaps better.

Well Thanks boys i feel better now i dont have to buy new tappets which ford quote me its $40 a piece, all up maybe $500.......... THANKS

EA to early EBII had 14mm lifters, and later EBII to EL, maybe AU have 11mm lifters. thats the main difference...

I also believe the design changed a little in ef...
