The most common is Mirc (http://www.mirc.co.uk) and the latest vers is 6.15 as of today. It is about 1.3mb and will take around 10 mins or less on a dialup connection. 2. Once you download it and install it (double click or open the file you downloaded and follow the prompts) run Mirc. It will show this screen: 3. Fill in your contact details, not mine. 4. Click on the Servers tab and select the Austnet: Random AU server 5. Click on the "Connect To Server" button. 6. It will say in the corner "connecting to au.austnet.org" or something similar. 7. Upon connection a window will popup with a set of predermined channels. Close this window. 8. In the bottom of the main background screen type in "/j #eseries" 9. You should be there now - be warned of MightyEFGhia, Walkinshaw, AaronEF8, FordGirl, and EFFalcon (they live there LOL..) If you have any problems then it will most likely be with step 6. Sometimes the servers go down and it will try and reconnect to alternate servers on the Austnet system. They will all have #eseries. If you have any queries feel free to post away... |

Dare I speak out about the unjust kicking of random members due to age old grudges?

Still, there's no need for anyone to hang sh-t on someones ride. If you love cars as much as I do, you'd know what they mean to a bloke.
It seems you guys can talk about non-ford topics, why give me a hard time when I do? |

If you're trying to DL it from www.mirc.co.uk there's no specific country version, the lists of different countries are just for the download location, if you choose another country it will still work, but downloading the programme will take a bit longer, but it's hardly a worry with a 2mb download.

Hey Guys,
Austnet has suffered from some problems, so you're probably going to have trouble connecting. To Join The New AustNet type /server irc.austirc.org You will have to re-register your nickname.

Thatnks to MightyXR6Turbo for closing the austnet #eseries channel, relegating #eseries to a **** network with constant dropouts. :P
The original #eseries channel on austnet is re-opened and operational, we will keep using it until we know whats happening between the 2 networks. The new network, austIRC is having problems constantly dropping out ChanOP, so the channels are still there, but is a PITA to use at this time. So basically, nothing has changed yet.
