Qld fan alert - Meet FPR's driving duo at the Ford Fan Day!
Ford will showcase V8 Supercar's finest at its first ever official Ford Fan Day on Sunday July 15 at Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds. FPR Falcon drivers Mark Winterbottom and Steve Richards will be joined by the entire field of blue oval V8 Supercar drivers and Seven Network personality and part time racer Grant Denyer for an action packed day in Brisbane. Running from 11am to 3pm, the Ford Fan Day has been designed to celebrate all things Ford Racing, with free entry and an abundance of activities for the entire family. Denyer will coach drivers as they race against each other using remote-controlled V8 Supercar Falcons on a custom built track. Denyer will also conduct exclusive on-stage interviews and run additional 'surprise' activities. Ford Fans can ride in a V8 Supercar simulator for an exciting V8 experience, or try their hand at the onsite XBOX 360 stations. Winterbottom, Richards and all the Ford V8 Supercar drivers are scheduled for autograph sessions throughout the day, and fans can take a picture with their favourite driver during dedicated photo opportunities. A number of V8 Supercar transporters will be on display, with tours also taking place. Ford Fans will also be able to check out the full range of Ford XR vehicles with V8 Supercar merchandise also available for purchase. Some activities on the day will request a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Ford Australia's elected charity. |
