Default XR sway bar diameter?

Been searching for the diameter of the genuine xr6 series 3 sway bar. I bought superpro bushes and they are 27mm - too big. I thought they were the right size but I should have checked. The old bushes are 25mm approximately. I am guessing the bar is 24mm? I thought the xrs had thicker sway bars?

The sway bar size on a XR is 24mm. I could be wrong and have not upgraded to a 27mm way bar on my XR8 after all.

Mine I would say is 24 based on the worn out bush being 25, and I don't believe it's been upgraded. Though I do read the upgraded width is much better handling. Would be nice to do at some point. I don't think you are wrong. I did do the order via the parts checker on the website (automotive superstore) but obviously what the website sniffed out was wrong. I don't even think they have the 24mm bush.

I had a 30mm adjustable sway bar in mine when I first got it.

It kept bending sway bar links so I downgraded to a 27mm one.

I can't tell you how much of a difference a larger sway will make as I also have koni yellows and superpro bushes front and rear throughout.

Oh that is no good, did not think about that.
