aparently they were all taxi's running without a permit!!!! thats a lot of illegal cabs!

some of those pictures look so surreal... including the vw's..

Also the low cost accomadation pics look surreal aswell.

Just for info..yes we are very lucky...and unfortunately the author of "The Lucky Country" Donald Horne died this week aged 83,the book was published about 20 yrs ago if my memory is correct.He was one of OZ's better social/political commentators and his book/novel is worth a read.
