Default SVT Focus Cold Air Ram Intake Snorkel Tube

Just saw this mentioned on ST170 thread, i didnt wanna go too off topic there..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...temZ7994066522

Will that Snorkel, easily replace my one in my 2.0 Zetec?

and be positioned and fit well enough to suit my stock airbox and in the future, a pod intake filter... ?

Neither the ST170 nor the SVT snorkel will directly fit the stock airbox. The stock snorkel is round where it fits into the airbox, the ST170 is a square edged triangle sort of shape. There are various "How to's" on the web on fitting the ST170 snorkel to the stock airbox, but most involve cutting the airbox and plugging gaps with gaffa tape, or bending the tube using intense heat and something round to shape it

And the cost of getting an ST170 airbox from Ford is prohibitive ($500-600 mark)

Do a search on "How to fit S170 snorkel" or similar and you'll see what's involved
