Default Update on the Fairlane

Well I've had it a year and finally started modding it. Probably cos I've been away for a few months, incase anyone noticed.

A year ago;

And now;

Crap I've spent too much money on it lately. Twin 2.25, PH4000s, Explorers, 65mm TB, superlows all round (hoping the front will drop a bit more), FTRs, half arsed LTD mock up. A few more things to come, hopefully be on top of them by Saturday.

weird that the rear looks lower than the front, isn't it usually the other way around?

Yeah I dunno what's going on there, my boot is full of crap like usual but it's not that heavy. I'll see how it goes over the next week or two.

Sweet as Rob! It's very clean.

I'll bet it goes a bit harder now as well. I look forward to hearing how it sounds with the twin system.

Probably all the extra weight sitting over the rear axle.

The car's looking great now! It looks mint.

Actually, the BF badges would probably suit the NC/DC shape better anyway :

Might take it to Calder in the next few weeks. Or Heathcote if I can be stuffed with the drive. Not expecting anything better than 15.4 really. But with Ash running 14.8 with pretty much the same set up who knows.

Looks good. The front does sit bit high, but can be fixed easy. Must say I'm a big fan of the colour too.

Alex's (the goodz) LTD has recently been lowered and sits the same as yours, low in the back and not incredibly low in the front. Looking heaps better tho, and that colour looks awesome (or i could be used to staring at primer hours on end :P)

Hope to see it in the flesh soon

See you got rid of the EGR side of things. What type of throttle body did you get.
I got mine done recently and I have a BBK 75mm throttle body. Got rid of the coolant running through it but I still have the EGR.
Thanks for replying to my PMs too Psycho Chicken, appreciated the help.

Sick, I'm down. Just gotta sort out my 'hey let's just dump fuel into the engine' issue the ECU seems to be having.

It's an AU 65mm TB and spacer. I butchered the E-series TPS to fit and it's running fine. The AU lower manifold doesn't have the provisions for that coolant line at the back passenger side either. I'm using the AU heater pipe as well so that coolant line is totally gone. Now I just need a Tweecer to get my timing back.

And I wasn't much help? Unless that's sarcasm lol.

Perhaps you should add some more sound system equipment to the boot to make the rear end heavier :hihi:
