Default e-series board

i have a serious question

i have been thinking about the e-series board in the last few days .....

i think that the current board members are on borrowed time

if i am thinking right the current board is over due on the time allowed as voting is a 12 month period

voting for the board should have been done in november

if i am wrong please tell me but thats when i think it should have been done

but now looking at the thread on the e-series club info this is what i found .........

General Club Information

Are You a Member:
The E-Series Owners Club membership database is separate to that of Australian Ford Forums. Many members of Australian Ford Forums mistakenly believe that they're automatically members of the E-Series Owners Club because they're able to access the forum and post as they would anywhere else.
To gain the full benefits of being an E-Series Owners Club member, you must sign up via our web site. It is free to do so and you will be emailed regarding upcoming meets and other news, and can unsubscribe at any time by replying with 'unsubscribe' in the subject line.
For further information on joining the E-Series Owners Club, the details are at the below link. If signing up, just remember to fill in ALL fields on the form.
Link: The E Series Owners Club sign-up page

Events and Cruises:
Individual states have their own Representatives; these Reps are responsible for Club affairs in their state, such as cruise planning, enforcing Club rules at meets and general overview of state activities. Cruises themselves have guidelines to prevent legal & safety issues, please keep these in mind if you plan to attend an official E-Series Owners Club cruise as there are serious consequences if they are broken.
Unofficial cruises can be organised by any member. Those who wish to do so should post in the Events area to gauge interest and setup the information for such cruises, if an event is supported by a representative then it may become an official cruise.

Displaying Your Car on Eseries.com.au:
Due to web space restrictions, we've limited the cars on the website to 'Feature Cars'; these are selected randomly to give members a chance to show off their cars in detail.
Those who are active on the forum are considered for feature cars.

Merchandise:
Currently, the selection of club merchandise includes stickers for display on member's cars, and polo shirts. For further details, contact John Wilson (EFFalcon) or visit:
Link: The E Series merchandise thread

E-Series Committee Information:
The Board of Directors:
Adam Twomey (AdzELXR)
Alex Stojan (The Goodz)
Ashley Kenway (Kenaz)
Dan Shaw (Walkinshaw)
Jason Dellit (EA2BA)
John Wilson (EFFalcon)
Tim Spence (BI6TIM)
Sundeep Sandhu (Sundeep)
The Board oversees major and national Club decision-making. The annual revoting for Board positions will next occur in April, 2007, with a maximum 50% change of staff in the interests of stability.

State Representatives:
Queensland Representative: Tim Spence (BI6TIM)
South Australia Representative: Darin Marous (Fairmont1998)
Victoria Representative: Joseph Mancini (-jjM-)
State Reps are the main organisers of events in their respective areas. States which lack Rep positions are awaiting suitable candidates. The annual voting/revoting for all State's Rep positions will next occur in November, 2006.

Other Senior Positions:
Founder: Jack Travis (ilsautomotive)
Membership Officer: John Wilson (EFFalcon)
Webmaster: John Wilson (EFFalcon)
Forum Moderators: Jack Travis (ilsautomotive), John Wilson (EFFalcon), Phil Edmondson (montyv8)

Feel free to PM the relevant members regarding anything you may wish to bring to our attention.

If there is further information you think should be included here, please post your comments and they will be taken into consideration.

now this date that has been posted is not correct it should be november 2006

now how is this right

jason

You need a hobby.

That is outdated. Websites don't always get updated.

They have all done a great job in the last year, so I don't see the point of changing it. I say, let them continue on.

The current board are doing a great job IMO, I also think that if there was a revote the same members would probably get chosen.

Am I missing something? Doesn't that quote say the Board gets revoted in April 07 and the Rep's were to be revoted in November 2006?

Last time I checked it was still March 07.

If you have a hassle with someone and you felt that it wasn't handled correctly then maybe a PM to the admin here to see what they think.

From what I have seen, the guys in the 'top' jobs have been doing a great job. They certainly have had their work cut out for them at times within the e-series section too.

Ahh so it does, I read it, and then waffled on myself..

The Qld rep wouldn't have been voted on in November last year as he (BIGTIM) hasn't quite served a year yet (at least I don't think anyway).
