Hav'nt got it yet but am looking at a car without cruise on the steer wheel like my present EF2 Monty has which is so easy to use...... Was 'cruise' an option on EF XR's??? Can i fit the optional stuff from a wreck???

yes.
ALL EF/EL's with ABS brakes is simply plug and play. GLi's however without ABS require 7 wires to be added, everything BUT the steering column. ALL XR's had ABS. all plugs and provisions are there.

Cool.....So i would need the buttons assemblies and fit them to the wheel then?
Or what will i need and how much for all bits.......i can fit it all myself??? |

Yes mate you can fit it yourself. If your car has ABS (which as noted all EF XRs do) then it is a pretty easy job. I have put together a few kits and sold on here. I might even have the parts of a kit right now (have to have a look at the old parts bin in my garage lol!).
Prices vary widely and i've seen the buttons alone go for 70 bucks on evilbay easy.
