Hey guys i recently have been thinking about going smaller for the best, and out of all the small car choices i have narowed it down to the xr5turbo, are there any probs with it that i should be awere of before making the purchase, or should i look for something else.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hey mate,

Have a look here : http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11216797

and also here : www.fordxr5turbo.com

There's a whole bunch of stuff on that website, probably better suited to you because it is solely devoted to the XR5

Good choice, Focus XR5T is a great hot hatch. Though it's not the fastest hot hatch, it's got plenty of character imo.

i just fell in love with the 17's and that orange colour, plus the fact that you can fit factory performance parts to it (at a price) of corse and still have your warranty.

also if you have watched top gear the RS And XR5 are two of the best hot hatches you can buy.

Yeah top gear make it all worth while. Although the Euroes have slightly different styling?

Other than 3-door availability and slightly different stereo, I dun think there's much difference. But the Mk 2.5 has been released in Europe now and that looks better than Mk 2, imo.
