Thoughts with the family and friends of the 2 officers killed. What the hell was going on there? Neighbour is killed for inspecting a car fire. People running around in camo ambushing police. Setting fires to trap the police in. The missing person? Fairly, most of the reports I am seeing are about the deceased, lots of questions left in regard to what in the world went down. |

Very sad.
Sounds like there was limited intel and just walked into an ambush. Then to be executed, takes a special type of scum to do that.

Conspiracy theorist nutters with sovereign citizen leanings. At least they're dead (the perpetrators that is), so no chance of a larger casualty event.

Hi Guy's
shocking news. My mind goes back to the Victorian Police Officers who were killed by that truck after they had pulled over that car for speeding. The police Officer's shot in Qld didnt do anything wrong and they were just doing there jobs and paid the highest Price for it with there lives because 3 nuts had no respect for the Police. There is not a Police Force in Australia that would not be hurting at this time. Its a shame the gutless wonder's who shot the Police Officers didnt live and rot in Jail for the rest of there lives. Our Condolences to the Qld Police Force and to the Officers family and friends. |

After another update it looks like the missing person they were there about was one of the gunmen. Nice. There for his welfare and he shoots them

This reminds me of the Walsh Street Shootings in Melbourne, the ambush and killing of 2 young police officers, by gangster Victor Peirce.
What a waste and absolute tragedy for the young constables who were shot and killed in Queensland. So sad for them and their families, they had their whole life in front of them and it was stolen. And to think they were just trying to help, responding to family concerns of a missing person, they would not have been prepared for an ambush in the slightest. I will just make sure I hug and kiss my family members and truly appreciate their company this Christmas, just so sad and pointless..........

[QUOTE=mondeomatureguy;6766190]Hi Guy's
Its a shame the gutless wonder's who shot the Police Officers didnt live and rot in Jail for the rest of there lives. ./QUOTE] A fitting end for them, and apart from the inevitable enquiry into the event, they will be forgotten, unlike that other bloke in Tasmania who is in jail, who has sympathisers, and (I think) got a mention in these nutter's reported conspiracy theories. No trial, no lawyers, no tax-payers money on jail costs, no personal publicity, no sympathising supporters, no Ned Kelly legends, no TV series, no marked graves. Job done. I hope that none of the special operations cops don't get shafted over the end result. |

Everyone believes the end justified the means, sure there will be an inquiry and a bit of finger pointing as to who knew what about these ****ing arseholes, mostly driven by the mainstream media who are always chasing a headline

I agree with this and also add the family members of the 2 constables and of the neighbour slaughtered get spared the trial. I observed a murder trial where a ex boyfriend was accused of murdering his girlfriend, and the problem was the body was so decomposed there was no cause of death identified, even though the body was hidden under bushes. There was evidence of an unusual grass seed deposited in the car boot and tyres that placed the accused's vehicle at one of the scenes. It was truly heart wrenching watching the family of the deceased girl sitting in court observing, and listening to various technical defences by the defence. The accused declined to give evidence and escaped a guilty verdict. The deceased family was so distraught having been put through another wringer, and the Police I spoke to just could not fathom the law. In this case all the victims families will be spared a trial where various defences may have been run, which would have been ghastly for them.

I feel for everyone associated with this inexplicable horror.
It sounds as though the unsuspecting police simply walked into an ambush and really stood no chance. The 2 police who survived will have to live with this horror scene and its consequences forever. The police who are assigned to investigate this will have a tough time too, particularly with all 3 perpetrators dead. Looking at the photos of the police they all look like ordinary young kids which makes it even sadder. Unless the gunmen have left something behind, we may never know their reasoning for ambushing and murdering the police officers and as for shooting their neighbour in the back, shows how gutless they really were. As much as I am a little disappointed that the perpetrators won't get to spend some hard days in a maximum security facility, I think the outcome with them being killed is best overall. RIP Constable Matthew Arnold, 26, Constable Rachel McCrow, 29, and neighbour Alan Dare. |

Unnecessary deaths, most of us agree. I just think it is so sad that we have both people that are willing to kill other people in cold blood; and people who are so easily influenced by the words written or spoken by other people (end result they just go off the rails and start believing a lot of B.S.) But if we look at history, it has always been so - unfortunately! And it will continue to be so.
With the apparent rise of conspirancy theorist numbers during the past few Covid-19 years and the mess in Ukraine this year + whatever other crap has been happening in recent times, let's hope for much better in 2023! A.D. |

For those who wish to display their RESPECT to the 2 constables and all Police who have paid the ultimate price in their line of duty, the blue ribbon stickers are available from https://copshop.com.au/
What made it worse for our family was that Rachel's mum worked at Prince Charles with my wife when both our girls were little. Respect. Stay safe Terry aka Tbro |

Looters have been around since Adam was a boy, nothing to do with young generation. Just f***ing low life's that like to steal from you when the opportunity arises.
I hope when the police finish their investigations the whole property is cleared and razed from all traces from these killers, leave nothing behind but bushland. |

Everyone, three people were killed trying to keep the community safe in one way or another.
This thread is pay your respects to these three people. However... As with every thread regarding the death of someone, I once again have to moderate it because some members want to either start arguments or push their theories and/or agendas. This is to stop right now! |

Alan Dare the neighbour was a Ford enthusiast,
ABC Prior to the funeral, a motorcade of classic Ford cars will convoy from Ipswich to Wacol behind Mr Dare's hearse. Mr Dare was a car enthusiast. Police will attend the service and form a police escort for the convoy. In his memory, Ford enthusiasts from across southern Queensland have come forward to participate in a large classic car procession before Mr Dare's funeral.
