Exclamation Timeouts and dropouts using Google Chrome

I don't know whether it's browser related or not, but I seem to be able to surf the net ok using Chrome elsewhere, but getting onto FF this morning has been a case of mission impossible.

Same here...but seems to be all good now - it wasn't just AFF though, it was everything...

It's behaved itself the last hour or two. Seemed to only affect AFF, everything else was fine.

Mozilla is still lagging out here...was good for a while, now I just keep getting text at the bottom of the screen saying Read www.fordforums.com.au, page seems to be still 'loading' despite all visible images/text/layout in the correct spot and showing...

You don't need plugins, I was wondering if they could be interfering though.
