The biggest I could fit in to my kf tx3 turbs was a 5" so im guessing yours would be the same seeing all lasers use same rear speaker holders.

May I suggest you put your speakers in your parcel shelf as the rubber rebound on speakers vibrates on the plastic grille that comes with your laser and makes a horrible buzzing noise... not to mention anything taller than a basic speaker (including 2 ways) will NOT fit as there is not enough room between speaker holder and factory grille.

After all you can just pop off the grille, get a measuring tape out and see for yourself.

Good luck.

Thumbs up speaker size

i just fitted a pair of 6" 3way speakers to the back of my 1990 kf ghia,
they require new holes drilled but fit fine also plastic cover even leaves enough clearance

hope it helps

ps you need to remove the plastic panels first and their is 2 metric screws holding the metal bracket onto the body

Thanks heaps for that everyone. Looks like I might go with them in the parcel shelf.

I just fitted some 6.5 inch splits to the back of my KF. I took out the plastic grilles and made a piece of mdf the same shape and mounted them to that. Fits well with the ring that holds the metal speaker grille overhanging about 10mm on the inside. The mdf gives a nice solid surface too, theres no vibrations and they sound solid.
