Default What is everone else using?

well this week i will finally be upgrading the speakers on my doors, and was wondering exactly what size speakers everyone is using?
because i'll be gettin some MTX 6.5" splits and wondering if they will slot strait in?
or is it only big enought for 6" speakers?

cheers troy

well ive got 6" pioneers in mine, the bullet series ones. Matt, who had the car before me had 6.5" orions. He had to make up spacers for them cause they were so big. but they fitted in fine. It was just so the window would go down, the magnet went to far back, oh he also had to cut out the speaker mesh on the door trims lol. Hope that helps. But i think you will be fine.

Damn EB1 only has 4"s in the front door and 6"s on the parcel shelf. I cant be arsed with modifying or screwing around at all so for now im content with those sizes.

I have Pioneer TS-160R Splits in the front doors. They are 6.5" and they slot straight in. I think that Mickus's mate had to make spaces because the magnets were too deep...
