yeah i probably would, but i dont want to be getting into any hassles with it all, and as it is ive spent close to 30k on the car and i dont want to be spending any more to get it going quicker, so its going to be sold and replaced with something legal that i wont have to spend as much on

Good choice mate. A factory turbo car is the go.
And I have owned 2 turbo falcons.

Fair enough mate. It's a bloody nice car, but I can understand why you would want a Skyline. Best of luck with selling it ;)

A twin turbo supra? Are you serious you know the single turbo supras are actually faster than a twin, less lag as though I heard anyway. Anyway if your going to go a skyline go for the gtr, a mate of mine has one and man that thing is fast 206kw at the wheels stock, he put in a new exhaust system and now over 230kw at the wheels plus its 4WD.

you shouldn't have much trouble selling it for that price. It's a really nice looking car with a lot of extras. Chuck it on carsales.com that's your best bet IMO ;)
I'd go a R32 over a R33. 33's are too common. My sister has a R32 GTst and that goes alright. It's wound up to about 12 or 15psi and that goes ok, nothing spectacular but it's got a lot of potential to go faster. And if you hang that thing sideways, compared to a Falcon it feels like a go-kart You'll find most of the cheap R32 GTRs are the early model ones which I'd steer clear of. |

thanks for the advice doug
id love a r34 but $$$$$, im thinking a r32 would be nice as i can pick one up for a good price already modded, and r33 i love the look of especially the series II and i cant pick up a stock turbo one for around 13-15k |

R33s are good, but I agree with sphell there, there are too many around. R32 seems like a good option right now, although R34s rule.

Definantly love the series 2 though, a top choice although the insurance excess on them are massive from all the little sik c*nts that keep drifting them into poles... |

Only 100 GTR's were released by Nissan Australia, and these are still fetching upwards of $40k. All other skylines are grey imports ;) except for the aussie built R31s of course, from 86 to 91 ;)

i cant beleive there has been no interest in it yet, i know its only been up for not even 24 hours but im very keen to get a new car before i get my licence back or i wont want to sell it if i start driving it again. at the end of this week it will be going up on carsales etc. i was just hoping a club/forum member might buy it ohh well, it will also have a for sale sign on it at all ford day in geelong.
