Default searching for jobs that require no experience on seek?

Does anyone know if there is a function you can use to search for entry level jobs, etc.? Like even basic office jobs I found are asking for several years experience.

Go to tafe or something. You need something to say that you are not a complete muppet; I think you need it.

Yo Dude, be more specific, is there a particular job that you're looking for? Is an office the only thing you'll do? There are plenty of jobs that you can do without experience, but it will depend on many things, ie:age, how well you interview/how well you can blag it.

more details and I'm sure I've got some suggestions

Anything. Im halfway through uni doing accounting and finance thinking of deferring next semester and working for awhile. Not worried about the type of work, preferably not lifting heavy stuff because I dont want to injure my back not because Im a pussy or lazy. I work about 20 hours at a supermarket filling get paid just under 20 an hour. I suppose this is a higher per hour rate than what i would be getting if I worked full time.

The only problem is if I have to come home from work at 3am and there's no public transport.

I imagine restricting your pay expectations would weed out jobs that require experience/qualifications.

If you're chasing 60k pa with no experience, trade or other quals then off to the mines with you like everyone else. But perhaps searching in the 20's tp 30's of annual wage then you'll surely come up with something you're suited to.

Although jobs like that are often found through word of mouth as opposed to seach engines. Costs a fair bit to advertise for jobs ($15k for a good ad in a national newspaper) and for entry level positions, this is expense is not usually justified.

Keep looking and listening tho mate - its an employee's market out there.

Dude, get in touch with your Uni job people and see if anything is going with accounting or finance firms.

If you're not having a whole lot of luck there, log onto seek, select your local region from all the drop down boxes and put "inbound" in the keyword search. bascially that'll return any call centre (inbound, no calling and annoying people) jobs. They're usually pretty cruisy, they suck, but they're for plenty of dosh, theres no heavy lifting (are you sure you're not a pussy? *joking*) and if you're in town then you get to look at all the lovely specimens of the opposite sex prance around in their finest power suits ;)

otherwise you're looking at shifting boxes.

also that jobsearch site seems pretty good!

My cousin is a mechanic by trade, 22 years old. He is working for BHP as an unskilled labourer, lining dams with black plastic !

He's based in Ravensthorpe WA, has 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off. All accommodation and meals are provided on site and he is paid $132,000 pa gross.....

If you have no commitments and can work at the end of the earth in heat that will have your balls sweating in 30 seconds... Then Go For It... Save as much as you can, don't blow all the cash.

After gaining his Leaving Certificate, he studied law at the University of Sydney. Howard joined the Liberal Party in 1957.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Howard

Costello was born in Melbourne, into a middle-class family of practicing Christians: his brother, Tim Costello, is a prominent Baptist minister and current CEO of World Vision Australia. He was educated at Carey Baptist Grammar School and attended Melbourne's Monash University, where he graduated in arts and law.

Costello. Im sure being a leftwinger Im sure you will have heaps of respect for people who study arts and law.

your joke was crap and predictable. i dont care if you take the **** but atleast make it funny and some originality

As a lawyer and former leader of the Liberal Party, I can confirm that neither position requires hard work, experience, competence or honesty...

You seem to be overqualified to be the leader of the liberal party so far.

Have you considered running for the office of the President of the United States?

Im not a lefty sweety pie honey dearest, you misunderstand me.

I am the sourbastard. And to me your political affiliation means less to me then your place on the evolutionary tree, which so far seems to be somewhere in the root system.

No doubt about it Lerner. Your way too smart to stay at Uni.

I'd stick with the job you have now.

I gather the fact that the Liberal party are copping all the flak goes to show that they are in fact inferior politicians to those members of other parties. That makes members of the Labour/Greens/Democrats etc good politicians........have a think about that one.

As for the topic of the thread, go back to school, learn something, and apply this learning in the work force.

inferiority depends on the judging criteria. I judge on absorbancy and taste.
