Default Private plate ideas.

Seeing as we are getting the $900 bonus from K Rudd (yo word up G) I am thinking of getting some private plates.

Can get 7 letters in aluminium plates or 9 on polycarbonate.

I prefer the aluminium ones. Either way colour will be white writing on black background to suit my Heritage Green EL XR8.

Now at the risk of giving away the plates I like here are the ones I like in no particular order

GTWAN2B or GTWANAB (Cause this is as close to an EL GT as I will ever get)
FALCONL or FALCNEL (Just so I can swear on my plate if it gets passed)
XR8TED (A bit ****ish, probably doesn't suit me)

Or if I go polycarbonate

FALCONELL
AUTOPILOT

Or if someone can come up with something to suit my EL XR8.
Aluminium plates are $350 and Poly ones are $475.

That's it - get $900 from the Gov and give it straight back to them through plate fees etc! Haha!! Just kidding mate!

Of your options - Autopilot is prob the best.

Yeah I hear you. Should keep the people happy who are against the hand out. :

What about KRUDD900 hahahaha. Although that could be read as Krudd which my car certainly is not.

No offence mate, but I personally think personalised plates are all a bit ****y anyway, unless they are on something extremely rare or exotic. Again, I don't mean to offend anybody

well honestly by saying that you're going to offend a lot of people regardless. Custom plates are a way to further personalise your car, in most cases giving it that 'finishing touch'. I hardly see why a car needs to be 'rare or exotic' to qualify.

I pretty much want the colour scheme mainly cause the blue writing on white background doesn't suit the car. But to get it you have to have custom so I have to think of something.

GTWANAB and FALCONELL are my favourites.

I like the HERITAGEEL but its one too many letters.

Got to play around with the letters to make it fit and look good.

More words to play with lets see....

TICKFORD
TOOSLOW
NOTARACE

Think I have settled on what I want on the plates now I'm unsure of what type to get whether aluminium or poly. Poly will allow the word to expand by 2 letters. But I'm not sure what would look better Ali or poly?

I won't say what I've picked but when I get them I'll post up a pic here.

This is an example of an aluminium plate in the colour scheme I like.

Can't find a pic of a polycarbonate one in my colour scheme. Think of it as flat plastic with the numbers/letters screen printed on.

I'll keep you in suspense until I get the plates.
