Hi Everyone
Happy New Year from AFF. It is that time of the year where you as a member of AFF gets the opportunity to have a say in who wins PCOTY. This year we have four worthy winners of PCOTQ; BF AWD Falcon Wagon (PCOTQ WINNER - 1st QUARTER OF 2020) AUII LTD 2002, project return to mint! (PCOTQ WINNER - 2nd QUARTER OF 2020) ZG Fairlane (PCOTQ WINNER - 3rd QUARTER OF 2020) Stu's P250 (PCOTQ WINNER - 4th QUARTER OF 2020) We are really hoping that everyone who logs on in the next 14 days takes the time to read these threads and appreciate not only the time and effort put into these builds but also the time and effort that these people take to post up what they do. Once you have read some of these threads, hopefully you may read some other build threads that were also very close to winning this year. So... Take a break from COVID and enjoy. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the following members for helping with the running of PCOTQ / PCOTY this year.
73 4V XB Silver Ghia BF11GhiaZF6 cs123 These four people took the time to search, read, consider and then discuss amongst ourselves the above four winners. The time they took to do this is very much appreciated. |

Well I want to look at the AWD BF wagon (because that's what I think the world needs), but looking at the thread doesn't produce a pic - gave up after 10 min and 30 pages. Only saw an AU, a ute and some race cars.
Be better if there could be a link to finished product rather than read 100 page threads before voting. |

The ZG got my vote because it's old school and because of the extra work required for the rust repairs.
Don't get me wrong, lots of work gone into the others and they look great, but the ZG did it for me.

Its never easy nominating a winner is it
The "Project Car of The Year" is a prestigious award, and like most awards, it is not something easily attained, just being nominated is an honour in itself. When pondering your vote many aspects of the project need to be considered, such as the level of engineering expertise and innovation, and degree of difficulty involved, attention to detail, technical expertise, the research and planning demonstrated prior to, during and at the conclusion of the project, level of communication and shared experiences throughout, and ongoing development, etc etc, it is not just about how the car looks at the end of the project. But primarily, your vote is the most important consideration, so please give a little of your time by simply casting a vote, by doing so you are acknowledging and showing your appreciation of the time and effort put Into the projects by the nominees. Best of luck to all the PCOTY nominees and thankyou for your efforts prior too and throughout the past year. To all my many fellow Forum members, Thanks For Voting |

Sorry everyone, I've been on holidays and never been worked harder in my life!!!
As you all can see, knight rider has taken out the 2020 PCOTY award. Thank you to all of those who took the time to vote, it is very much appreciated. As for 2021, it will be the same format. A winner announced every quarter decided by the judges and then the yearly award decided by yourselves. Hope to see not only plenty of build threads this year but plenty of others participating in these threads. AFF Admin and Mod Team |
