Default el fuel tank capacity?

hey was just wondering whats the fuel tank capacity on els? ,cause i fueled up my car last night from empty i got 70 litres in ,looked in the owners manual and it says 68L capacity.

lol im just curios thats all cheers

I always thought it was 65lts, i guess what the user manual says is correct

crans, i always thought it was 65 aswell.

yep 68 litres.....sometimes the bowser can give inacurate figures and unless you tank was dry i dont think 70 litres would have fitted.

Its probably a 68litre tank and you've just filled up another 2 litres or so into the filler neck between the tank and where you actually put the bowser nozzle in.

coz theres a fair distance between were the float would sit and the neck of the filler is?

ive filled up my car once and it took 75.6 litres and it was only just on red so i recon they are just ripping us off but ahhh well i needed fuel so i wasnt gonna winge.
