Default Thread Relocation Gripe

I started at thread in The Pub titled "Better Fuel Economy When Driven Hard?" and I've just found this has been moved to the Post Classic forum. The topic of this thread was about fuel economy in general, not just for the car I've done this test in, so I'm puzzled as to why it was moved as it was primarily general automotive talk...hence The Pub is where I started it.

In this case shouldn't posts such as "New Mazda MX5" and "LS3 For Final Commodore" be moved to Non Ford Rides or "bathurst ads" be moved to The Pits? I could go on with more threads but I assume you get my point.

Threads get moved for a variety of reasons. It is at Admin/Moderators discression to move threads so that you get the best replies to your original question. They are also moved to areas where other members who are also looking for the same info or relevant info for their passions can find it.

That being said, we can and do make mistakes. We are only human.

Cheers

... and it is moved back now. A simple PM to a SuperMod or admin would have sufficed.

Thanks Col, I found I was getting great responses from The Pub, people related to my problem with all different vehicles which is what I was aiming to find, not just people with the same make car as me. And then to find it relocated in a forum which doesn't attract views from people with different models was frustrating. I believe this is the second time this has happened to my threads; it puts me off of posting all together.
