After looking at some great web sites devoted to the aussie Falcons, I've decided that as well as building the "save the classics" database driven website (thread here: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11280 ), I also want to start a site dedicated to the Ford Escort, in all it's different versions, with as much information and pictures as possible.
So consider this a call out to anybody else who could supply me with pictures and information that I could use, as well as any links to information that would be useful. The sort of information I'm after is this sort of thing: Complete model list (for example, Mk II - GL, Ghia, RS2000, XL, etc.), specifications for the models, differences between different models and different years of manufacture (for example intermittant windscreen wipers being introduced in I think it was 1977). Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks to the Brochure Scans on here, combined with my own knowledge, this is what I've got so far:
Mk I Escort:
Engines (all 4 cylinder):
Mk II Escort:
Engines (all 4 cylinder):
Any obvious mistakes so far, or anything missing? For now I'm concentrating on the Aussie Escorts, so the Mk I and II models which were available here, as well as the sports models for competition.

And if things like this: http://www.zx2racing.com/images/zetecgeometry.jpg - only for the Kent, Pinto, Cosworth and Lotus engines used in the Escorts - could be located, it would be very much appreciated. I plan on making this the one-stop site for Escort nuts.

I've started work on the web site, it's located at http://www.fordescortinfo.atlaspc.info/ for now - I'll get a domain for it later
I'm still in the process of gathering information and adding it to the site, there is a lot I have yet to add. Then once I've got all the information I want, I'll concentrate on making it look better.
