Exclamation Mustang Hybrid look revealed

Front end of Mustang hybrid revealed in new video with Brian Cranston from Breaking Bad. I'm guessing that means we'll see the whole thing at Detroit 2019.

The modern Mustang made to look like a classic is cool, imho.
An electric hybrid is Not.

Having classic old school styling with the modern V8's and force fed engines like Mustang now is kind of cool.

Hybrid Mustang might take a while yet for me to totally convinced but so many manufacturers are going this way .. VW are going down that path in a big way .

I expect that in the future we will see many models feature a hybrid option and eventually an all electric option once battery capacity and fast charging issues are solved and rolled out. No reason they can't have a sound solution to mimic an ICE. Indeed I suspect that eventually they will require some noise from electric vehicles so that deaf people and others can hear them and not be hit.

Best of both worlds imo, this is the way cars are going, accept it, so why not wrap the package in some retro charm. If they went too futuristic people would complain its not a Mustang.
The lack of engine noise angle always makes me smile, no disrespect intended but deaf people are just that, deaf, how are they going to know if its an electric or ICE car coming?

Another rendering of the S650 (7th Generation) Mustang... Bring it on!

They say the 7th gen Stang will be pushed back a year to 2021 from 2020 as originally planned and be available as a 2022 model.

I think one thing may be certain, it will no longer be just RWD and go AWD and share a unibody platform with other Ford vehicles.

This is the way car makers can streamline production and further reduce production costs to remain competitive.

The 8th generation EV Mustang with Tesla performance (expected in 2027) would shame the current V8 as we know it today, and make it redundant, except for purists who only believe in the rumble of a thundering V8 and the exhaust noise makes a true Mustang.

But by 2030, most cars on the road will be EV anyway.

No having a 60's mustang with modern V8's is cool

Having 2018's wannabe 60's styling is naph AF

Sounds good to me. Probably should keep the V8 along side the Hybrid for a while. Replace the 4 cylinder with the hybrid.
