Default Boot release problem

Just had the dash out and in for a blend door motor (EL Faimont Ghia) and now the electric boot release doesn't work.......

I can hear it clicking behind the dash when you press the release button or the smartlock - it's my guess I have missed a connection from the module tpo the release behind the dash. Other central locking works ok.

Any pointers to wiring colours or connector colours would be appreciated as i would like to get out of this without pulling the dash out again..........

Just make sure the plug for it is in correctly.

Plug's nice and tight - the module actually clicks when you press the boot release so i am guessing there is an air gap somewhere between the module and the release........would i be right in assuming there is another plug somewhere to rounte a cable to the actual release - anyone know which side of the car its on and where??

The wire might be excessively kinked or is earthing somewhere behind the dash.

The wires go down the driver's side, and the plugs are at the drivers footwell, dont know which one of the half a dozen it is though, but if its your only problem, then I doubt its a loose plug.
