Hey
Previous thread HERE. Are the exhausts exchangable (from the exhaust manifold back) ? Are the Gearbox's the same (both being the 4spd auto) can i swap the shocks over ? if i can be bothered with doing the dash, will the engines sensors be the same e.g temp, speed, RPM e.t.c (being the different engine 3.9l/4.0l). im sure ill think of a few more things down the track. cheers for the help |

cmon someone must be able to answer the above questions ?
Im wanting to swap the exausts over because mines shagged. also what about sway bars ? the fairmont seems to have far less bodyroll are they anything more special than the EBII falcons ? |

I think the exhausts are interchangable. I think they bolt up the same way. Not sure about the swaybars though, sorry. All I know on my EAII Fairmont Ghia, I get huge amounts of bodyroll. I've still got stock suspension though

gearbox wil be tha same, dash reading such as rpm wont be tha same due to different engine size's but not by much cos its .1 of a ltr temp n speedo should be fine and yes u should be able to swap tha shocks ovah but to save a lot of time and effort jus swap tha whole strut ovah. hope this helps.
