We don't go around deliberately hunting endangered species in other peoples countries though.

this hit the news over the weekend too. A couple of things that dont sit with me about the video (among many others):

-How is Minke Whaling sustainable considering the IUCN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IUCN) lists this species as "Near Threatened" and CITES (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CITES) lists this species as "Endangered"?
-Since when was the Dingo or the Kangaroo an endangered species?

This video does a fair job of saying nothing but makes it believable enough for most people outside of Aus to swallow it which is the most disturbing part

Someone pass me my harpoon, There's a few million Japs I need to kill......In the name of research of course.
Those bloody Japs really me off no end. Going around killing majestic creatures just so they can put a 'delicassey' on their menu's. They are a race of savages, Thats all they are.

Looks like there are just many clowns with internet access in Japan as Australia. Every country has them.

We appear to be crossing into somewhat ludicrous overreaction mode as usual.

Learn some restraint people.
