So... Just a sticker pack. Doesn't look special enough for me for the final fair well of the great Aussie Falcon.

Aside from having more power, R spec suspension, wider rears, telemetry monitoring on the ICC, unique interior bits like GTF embroidered seats etc. I guess some people wanted more, but at the same time they didn't need to re-invent the GT for its send off. I think they did enough.

I have to agree. To me its just an Rspec done again. Would have been nice if it had better seats/interior, or a different body kit (I know some would argue the build numbers don't justify it, but they used to do unique kits in years gone by for smaller build quantities.

I'm talking about the outside of which the photo is taken, the topic of the thread, not the car in its entirety. The last hooray, to me, should standout and be obvious to all who see it, a different body kit would be awesome, maybe some nostril's in the bonnet. Either way, to each their own.

Was down at Maughan Thiem in Adelaide today and they had an octane GTF and a Ute in the service area just delivered. Both in octane. To me the octane looks kinda dull but could have been the lighting.

Real world the consumer wants the best product they can possibly get, not defend a brand with loyalty even though that brand is up and ditching the country. Different bumpers isn't much to ask for from the FINAL GT and last signature car of an Aussie icon. How much would it cost ford to do the external modifications of the GT-F compared to any other FPV, a few bucks for the center strip and the addition of the extra F behind GT and the 351.

I'm not saying the car a great piece of kit, just wish they did more to make it individual. But hey, they got no money.... Must be tough being a fortune 500 company.... Especially one that went from the 10th richest company to the 8th richest company in the world. Let's not ask them to spend a extra couple hundred on per car for some bumpers, wouldn't want them to miss out on lunch....

Last time I checked Ford Australia doesn't work from the same budget as Ford global.

Saw a handful of GTF's in various stage's of build at Broady today.

It was the last GT, they could have more or less charged whatever they liked (within reason) to cover costs. They didn't. I think that speaks more about how (un)important the Falcon is to Ford at the moment.
