Can all the WQ Zetec owners please post pics of their cars? I'm trying to get an idea of what the different colours look like. :

Here's tango. It was a choice between this, black, silver & sea grey.

Thanks guys.
Is the Tango like an orange/ red mix- that's what it appears like on my monitor? The white looks very nice, a so much better than I thought it would. I found a small pic of a Panther Black one on Carsales that caught my eye, but black is a very high maintenance colour (been there once.....) Has anyone got pics of the Moondust Silver, Sea Grey, Panther Black or Tonic?

Also remember "Mondeost24", whatever colour you decide on in the Zetec determines what colour seats are in the car, there is a range of 3 colours, you do not have a choice of what colour interior you wish to have to fit the colour car you want, whereas the LX and Ghia only come in one colour whatever the colour car you choose, no choice necessary.
The Diamond White, Panther Black, Tango and Moondust Silver all have the Red seat inserts which really look "The Biz" imho, that was a determining factor when I got my White one, although the Tango looks pretty hot in the flesh also, not an easy choice.......good luck with it. : |

tango is sort of red/copper. It's quite stunning, but hard to get a good photo of. Either that or I'm crap at taking photos. There are more photos in some other threads.

This is Sub Lime, it's a real greeny-yellow colour and changes a little under different lighting conditions. I quite like it and it's a relatively rare colour to boot. I still prefer the WP styling, but I think my ideal Fiesta would have WQ headlights and dash.

Interesting avatar Danny. Planning on deserting us as well? WQ taillights are nicer IMHO. Look after market. Dam I need that tint.

Indeed I do....
Its an easy mod to do if you have a Graphic Designer mate with a sticker cutting machine. He has also told me that If anyone else wants to do it, he has the template saved on the machine, so he can make more. He says that he can sell them for around $15, they can be sent in a std. 45c envelope anywhere. It's basically a 2 layered sticker with a chrome oval on the bottom, and the ford logo on the top. Top layer can be any colour that you want, and can have any writing you want, but Ford logo is the best. -Dan |

The red looks nice- pity you can't get a WQ in red?! Sublime is interesting, will have to try and find one in a dealer as metallics rarely show up well in photos.
On the old Ford badges like on my old 1990 Laser 4WD turbo you could sand the back off the badge and repaint it any colour you liked. The chrome part was recessed and stayed as it was originally. A friend with an EB Falcon tried the same thing and stuffed his badges..... OOPS!

It's in my engine bay lol, and yes it looks good on top of the badge. As for how to get them, PM me and I'll be able to help you out with details. As I just simply tell him what you want and we will send it off once payment is made. |
