i just got my short shifter from mal wood but it doesnt look like i thought it would. i thought it would just be a shorter stick but the bit i have is where the stick joins the gearbox. its got the little ball on the uderside where it goes into the box. it doesnt feel any shorter than the box when i played with it on friday?
anyone else got a mal wood short shifter and can put my fears aside? |

Simmo if you want to know what a Mal Wood short throw shifter feels like, just come round and have a go of mine. Or you could just believe me when i tell you, you'll be happy with it.

if you want a shorter stick, get the ef/l one it is a little shorter and sits in a better spot... or modify your existing one

i also got mal wood to chop my gearstick... the gearbox i originally converted my car with had an xf gearstick, and it was huge...
so it got the chop and my throws are very short thanks to the shifter kit and short stick...
