Default Problem fitting clear indicators

Hi all,

The problem is I take the screw out of the right headlamp so i can take it off to put on the clear indicator. The left one went on a treat and was all good. The problem is that the aircon gets on the way.

Those of you who have done this, can you tell me if you ripped the aircon off its mounts to be able to get to the side screw. Like its the only way I can possibly see of doinf it, because there is not enough room for anyone to put a hand in there.

Thanks
Bill

Bill,
Hmm. I assume you are talking about the air con heat exchanger / radiator.? In mine it is on the other side of the radiator support. But thatis prob due to the V8 being shorter that the I6. Post a pic if you can.

Mine is opposite to yours. The problem is that where the hoses come out there os barely any room to get a socket in to get to the side screw. I'll try get a couple of photos of it later. If my mate is home before the sun is down i'll take a couple and post em. For the time being one will have to stay clear and the other orange.

You can see how in the centre there is that cylinder. What is that exactly? Anyway to the left of it is the is the heater exchange or whatever its called. You have to squint to see it. (I'll try get a better pic of it). The hoses going to it, are in the way of being able to put a socket or spanner in there to take out the bolt.

So my query is, that there are three screws holding the heater exchange, do i have to just remove the screws so there is just enough room to take the bolt out and take the heater exchange off, or is there another way without having to move it?

I'll get another pic which will show it clearly.

Bill

Finally worked out how to do it. Removing the panel to get to the side screw of the headlamp was somewhat annoying. I'm very happy with the outcome. It has made the car look a lot smarter than what it did with the amber ones.

Thanks Brendan for supplying the goods. They work a treat.
Bill.

I didn't see the problem in that pic. Why don't you have any coolant though ?

Bill,
No problem mate. Glad you got it sorted ...

The clear ones do change the look at the front.
