Hey fellas,
I have a question..... On tuesday night my mum was driving back from sydney when a kangaroo decided he would make the leap of faith and well didn't quite make it. Its amazing at what can happen when you hit a roo at 110km/h. Any way its an ecological write off being as the car was only insured for $1200, is it worth trying to get the wreck back from them. Its only an ea gl but its has a 5 speed trans and an lsd. And other than the radiator the engine is good, interior complete and all. They did say cause of the age of the vehicle they would probably just let us have it but we have to pick it up and its about 300 - 400 kms away, so it would probably cost about $300-$400 in petrol and a trailer to get it. My Question is..... is it worth it!

To be honest its an EA, you would be lucky to sell the parts for what it will cost to go pick it up, take the insurance money and leave it at that.
