Or maybe it was the coach !

Enjoy it while you can, Wallabies are still on the wrong end of a 65% win/loss ratio against the All Blacks.

If they can win four tests per year for the next 11 years then you can start boasting

[QUOTE=MAGPIE]Or maybe it was the coach !
i disagree. i didn't see the coach miss tackles, drop the ball or take cheap shots. it's funny when the all blacks win a game they are the best team in the world , when they lose it's somebody else's fault. cheers.

Was at the game.. brilliant performance. Good to see the wallabies back playing rugby again, something they seem to have struggled with for a few years. Now they just need to do it away from home.

: Yep.. good to see we've rolled the 'Blecks'! out: :
Buddha was right on the money!

They took it pretty sportingly though! (even though we made them look sheepish! BAAAAH)

I still think the Aussies kick the ball way too much, though! All the chances mostly come when we run it!

did anyone see in the paper today, the wallaby fella in the all black defensive line called out "i've got him" as his team mate runs straight through for a try? very cheeky, they'd be killing themselves laughing i reckon ( the wallabies, not the all blacks)

old trick, you'd think players at this level wouldn't fall for this sort of thing now wouldn't you. We'd often learn opposition players nicknames and call out for them to pass the ball..

It's funny how we never hear from you guys when your wallabies are losing, like I said enjoy it while you can...

the wallabies will always only be the third best team in the world at best

So just like the Australian Cricket team then?

I actually thought it was a great game, Aussies fully deserved the win and the ABs need to lift their game in a big way.

Me too, and was reminded how much I hate the Stadium.

Great game, but the Kiwis only had one player to actively play their whole time on the field (Dan Carter). As I heard on the Fox commentary Yesterday, "whoever wins tonight will loose next week". Not a truer word spoken.

Edit: J_Tank: The kiwis always seem to have a problem with high stakes games. Choking seems to be the norm.

Am this is Tri nations.. Which includes Bledisloe cup..
I think both N.Z and Aussie are going to find it hard in S.A..
That game in Dunedin was a top game and the S.A just kept going..
I think that game softened up both sides..
It was played like a state of origin!!
I didn't think the tackle was bad enough for Thorn to be sent be sent off 10 min sin bin.. Phil Kearns on Fox said so too..
In any case the new rules make the game so much quicker now...
Far far better game to watch also..

Damn Straight. The Poms and Frogs must have rocks in their heads for ignoring what the ELVs bring to the game. The only problem is, people like Waugh are finished, as the game is too quick for them to keep running for 60+ Minutes (until they are subbed off).

The other problem is, we get used to the ELVs, and then have to go and play the Poms, Irish, Frogs etc, the Southerners have to revert back to the old rules.

The reason the poms don't like ELVs is simply because they can't/don't play that brand of rugby. They'd be murdered.

Carter played his socks off and seemed to need to be everywhere... perhaps feeling the loss of Richie, spent a lot of time in the deep returning kicks and not in the defensive line.. As for the stadium... tell me about it! I freaking hate that place, paid top dollar for seats that the equivalent at the SFS used to cost me SFA only a few years ago at Waratah matches. Mind you It was a game well worth seeing in the flesh! Also meant there was no need to put up with the channel 7 commentary. Gordon Bray is the worlds biggest tool and the rest of his team are so biased you'd think anytime the wallabies play it's actually the Reds, as apparently only QLD players are worth discussing? As for Thorn... anyone who watched the Super 14 final would struggle not to see the parallel. Thorn sunk the Waratahs by taking out Beale. For the same player to take the Wallaby play maker on high.....

They were the exact opposite to the AB's who didnt kick enough...they kept trying to run it out from their own 22...idiots...get the field position first, then run it...

Experimental Law Variations.

Half Arm Penalties, Quick Throw-ins for long (deep) line-outs, where it is pointless to stop the game and have both teams set-up for a proper lineout. There are also inside-22M rules. It makes for a much faster style of game, which is punishing the oldies. Outlined in the first website that loaded for me here.

XRSex: Good point. The Poms struggle enough with the current/non ELVs.

AM currently in Auckland where I have been stuck working for the last 14 days...boo hoo..but have the Wallabies staying in the same hotel with us, actually had breakfast with Robbie Dean this morning, nice enough bloke and seemed pretty relaxed. I have seen a few of the Wallabies this morning and no doubt will see a few in the Gym tonight....

I wouldn't say it was a huge performance by the AB's tonight.....Just their usual standard having been returned after a couple of hicups recently, that's all. One more win and the Beldisloe stays in it's righful place for another year

Not a bad effort seeing as thought half the AB's are rookies, most of their best having been poached by French clubs recently.

Agreed, wasn't an epic performance but considering last weeks shocker a 29 point win is quite satisfying.
