Nice to see this happen though, and a car close to my heart on the front page, a mustang convertible!

I would hope Ford AU would make their own Vault but somehow it may not happen.

I suppose you could call our show and shine pages a vault here on the forum?

Love reading the content on there.
Reading a 1965 brochure and the Landau had sequential turn signals before it was cool.
Also, apparently alternators weren't standard back then.

Plenty of Australian content on there by the way from what I have found.

I think the search is broken as every result I click on in the search results just tells me my search has expired and to try again.

Edit; Basic search results are broken but if you choose advanced search the results work when you click on them!

There has been more international content added now, with more to come.

https://www.drive.com.au/news/ford-a...till-in-limbo/

The deadlock with the government regarding the export rules means the majority of material is still sitting in Broady. I can't believe the government can't provide an exemption that allows the material to be shipped to Dearborn, scanned, and then returned to Australia, ensuring it can live forever digitally? The gov would rather it rot here.

Surely an undertaking between FoA and the Gov department responsible with a written agreement would be good enough?

As it gets released we should probably archive copies here on AFF like the workshop manuals, as things have a habit of disappearing online on a whim.

Or maybe the Australian Government would be happy with the collection being stored on an Australian Ford community
