Default Ed Mod Suggestions

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times but i recently got an 1994 ed futura still stock was wondering what were the easier mods to do to the engine to give it more power also how do u decrease the lag it takes to transfer the power from the engine to the rear wheels like when u put ur foot all the way down the engine starts to rev loads then the car accelerates how do u make that shorter?

your right, it has been asked a thousand times before (search is your friend).

To decrease lag, improve engine power and make sure everything is in top nick (service the trans etc).

Intake and exhaust mods, a chip, mild cam, all these things help out.

Lower final drive.. 3.45 or 3.7 esp if auto...Good exhaust and replace filter element with a high flowing type..Then maybe fitting a hi performance cam...
A higher stall converter from http://www.jimmockmotorsport.com/ Also check out there performance packages for your engine...

Sounds like you have an auto, so i'd say get a manual :P Nah seriously, if it lags between changes, or when dropping back a gear (as you've described), get the auto serviced, and if it's still bad then get a shift-kit to speed things up ;)
