Default What should i do next to my AU?!?!?!

Currently all i have done engine wise is fitting an XR6T Intake Snorkel and getting a K&N Panel filter

My baby goes in for it's 4480's, 2.5" Catback & Hi Flow Cat in just under 2 weeks ( Gotta love school hols : )

I'll be getting it tuned not too long after that

But in the meantime is there anything else i can do?

I like buying stuff off ebay :

Any suggestions that are worthwhile?

Series 2/3 tail lights absolutely (or altezzas if that's what you are into). Colour coded door moulds and mirror covers.

What have you done to the interior?

You could get the C2R grill and fairmont headlights so you don't have the ugly coloudy things. I reckon that'd look alright.

Castle Hill Exhaust LOL.. hmmm I know the guys there.. one is a down right ********, they are more holden orientated there. They do O.K work but you need to have a deep pocket. Wait for the - "oh we needed to do this, and this and this.. oh dont forget that" so now that $900 turns into $1500.
They have done it to me and one of my friends.

As for what next, depends if you want looks of performance.

Looks - rims, tinted windows, lowering, bodykit etc etc..

Performance - Diff gears, highstall and shift kit (unless its a manual), and definately without a doubt, edit. Even a cam change?

Autotech wanted $1950 or something ridiculous for a 2.5" catback, stainless steel cat & pacies, then another $1300 or so for an edit

So i was like...

No

Damn.. that's the first bad comment i have heard about them, lol.. Not exactly a confidecne booster!!

Already got 18" Azzurros, already is lowered and got a bodykit.. Tints might be a go too

What does a shift kit do? Sounds interesting

JMM, surecam, crow.
Although there is no Billet till february, so that limits your choices a bit. You will probably need a regrind, unless you wait.

JMM cam? seriously.. give me a knob of salami, i'll grind you my own cam LOL.. stick with Surecam or Crow cam.
What ever you do in performance mods, do the edit last. No point getting it done now, then putting in a cam 2 months down the track and then having to get a re tune.
