Default Where To Get A Cam?

hey guys im trying to get a few prices on a cam for my xr8 im thinking of going far out mass lumpage im going to be running a unichip aswell so hopefully should all work out

im only after suply prices for cam as a can get it fitted no probs

it would be best to speak to gthofan about wade cams, or someone who works for crow or maybe ring jim mock or something i dunno if he is big into 8s or not tho

yeah im interested in this to, im searchin for a cam to for mine, was going to get the crow cam that went into the v8 brutes but money is tight and its holding up the project cost for that is about 500. and to gthofan the answer is yes, el xr8 do have roller cam

If it's anything pre-BA it'll be a pushrod cam. Anything after that, roller cam.

By looking at his info, it seems he has an EF2 XR8.

That would mean it's a pushrod engine.

yaggy, E-series/AU windsors are roller blocks (they have roller cams which bump roller lifters)

EFI 5Ls are Hydraulic rollers.
The rockers are activated by pushrods, but the lifters are rollers!
I wouldn't even bother with a cam swap if you still have stock (E7TE) heads and manifold.
