Hey everyone,
my names Samir and i'm new to this forum. I've got a 92 tx5 4ws, i want to change the steering wheel to a sports wheel, the problem is the cruise control buttons are on the steering wheel. Just wondering if anyone knows if i can change it, is there any way to ge around it or am i stuck with the original wheel? Cheers!! |

go without the cruise control that wiring should only be on a plugged loom
keep the original wheel for later just ask an auto electrician for your options if there is an muti fit unit availiable

Just get some momentary-on switches from Jaycar, re-route the wiring to behind the dash and wire it up to the switches.

the thing is that the buttons for cruise that are on the wheel are the cruise setting buttons not the main on off buttons, is that what your talking about?
Also ive been told that it may be possible to attach the buttons to the new wheel some how, is that posssible. N ive got no idea, the big prob is that auto electricians are saying that the job is too complicated and they can't do it. |
