Thumbs up WE DID IT! Sydney to Perth & Back In A 900hp XY

In case you hadn't heard Sash from AN Racing, Roy from Street Fords and Paul from Wolfpac made the epic trip from Sydney to Perth and back arriving home last night at 8pm in a 900hp XY GT.

We did it to raise money for the Starlight Children's Foundation with so far $10,000 raised.

It isn't too late to donate either as we are keeping the donation time open until the end of July.

To read all about our journey visit www.anracing.com.au

Cheers,

Roy :eclipsee_

I gotta say it was the best road trip I have ever been on and would do it all again next week if I could.

I was just saying to the guys today that I feel like I should be behind the wheel driving as the day is so boring just sitting in one suburb!

Hope you enjoyed my daily writeups.

No fuel card unfortunately and no fuel sponsor...we did try though!

Cheers

i guess the time spent on the wrong side of the road when overtaking triples etc on the nullabor would've been kept to a minimum.

Might have to be careful about wheelspin though with 900HP on tap :hihi:

Agreed, I'm not knocking what you guys have done but couldn't you have just given your fuel bill amount to charity

Just kidding guys, well done!

Thanks guys.

Fuel bill was around $3500 for the XY alone!

It used on average 26L/100km, covering 8252km.

We still have managed to raise $10,000 to give to the charity absorbing the cost of fuel and other items.

Cheers,

Roy

Would have been so tempting to open it up on the long straight stretches across the nullabor plains

Sheesh! 26l\100 on a massive run like that. Hate to think what it would average in city driving. My hat goes off to you guys. Well done

I think that with 900hp, 26L/100km sounds pretty good.

Top trip and top bunch of guys.

26L/100km was achieved with BP and Mobile fuel. The Shell stuff did go as far. It was consumed at 35L/100km. For some reason Shell didn't seem to be as efficient as the others.

Thanks all for the well wishes guys.

Regards
Paul
