OK, so im pretty f****g dark that while parked in the uni car park last week, someone hit my car and did a runner. i noticed that they had done a shocking park but i was in a rush so i had no option but to squeeze in next to them. i try as hard as possible to park with no other crs around mine or next to a wall or something. but anyway, i got back to my car and sure enough there is a whopping gash out of my rear quarter panel. some how they didnt take any paint off, but just pushed it in nicely so that it is noticeable. why do people hit and run? it would have cost them maybe 50 bucks to buy me a used panel from a wrecker and i would have fitted it myself. why not just leave me a note? why be a tightass? i hate people that do this and especially when it's a 4wd who think they own the road. next time i park at uni i will be paying for a spot in the video camera car park - a small price to pay to know that my car will be safe. :jab: oh well just looks like more work for me cos of some stupid *** hole. :

Bummer, some people. If you know the type of paint it is, try back the following week to check the same car park, and to see whether any one one else has some damage, with your paint on their panels. Worth a try. Always take note of the cars you park next to, because a uni isn't that big, and you can find the same car you parked next to pretty easily.

Ah you poor bugger. The rear quater panel is welded down so you will have to get some panel work done instead.. This happened to me and ended up costing a helluva lot more than I could ever have expected.
I see your in SE Melbourne, I know a REALLY good place to get repairs (where I got mine done), they were the cheapest yet they did a flawless job, they're a well-recognised company too.

haha thanks guys, yeh it was the supermarket car park though so it could have been anyone, but yeh i think i remember wot car it was so ill hunt the ***** down if i see them.
what is this place you know of XRated? I got some work done at a place called Mines in East Doncaster, and it was the shabbiest work i have ever seen in my life! My bonnett now has different gaps on either side and there are massive gaps between my headlights and XR grille. i also got the car back with wet paint on it!!! I made a complaint but there insurance assessor just wanted to bog me down with paperwork so i didnt pursue it. but yeah let me know of this place and i might go and do some investigative work. Thanks for the support and ideas guys, HRT R.I.P

That sucks. I know how you feel except my damage was closer to $6500. Hit my car while it was raining I hit the gutter, blow to tyres, dent two rims, both front brake disks snapped, found a brake caliper 50m down the road, ripped the front bar off. Suspension had to be replaced. The car stopped about 3 metres away from a pole and was doing 80km/h. The guy stopped, I looked over at him and he speeds, Not to mention the blue paint and damaged rear quarter panel on my wagon. I will find you Blue Honda Accord Euro!!! :jab: :jab: :jab: :SaiyanSmi out: out: : :
